Why even bother caring about this team when they're just so erratic and inconsistent?

It feels like we're trapped in the 2009 season again, except that year we at least tied for first place at one point.

Not bringing up Dayan for this slumbering offense is enough where we shouldn't care anymore, but we still do.

Sox lead 3-0 against a lousy pitcher and strand runner after runner.

Detroit stole one there. A sweep might have got the Tigers thinking they're ready for their collapse.

But we don't sweep teams. We just don't.

Really bad job by Ozzie of not taking advantage of the Valverde/VMart battery.

Oh god...didn't even think that V-Mart was catching. Lillbridge could have probably stolen 2nd and 3rd.

Then Teahen would have still struck out and PePe popped up, so we'd lose anyway.

Leyland won Detroit this game by putting runners in motion with Cabrera up and a full count. Really bad job by Ozzie of not taking advantage of the Valverde/VMart battery. Time to go win 2 of 3 against KC.

That's one or 2 plays in a 9 inning game.

Sox hitters choked.

Lexi choked.

Sox are flawed.

What is also ridiculous is they actually had the lead runner on Beckhams hit, but Pheralta inexplicably didn't throw it to 2nd.

That was a terrible, terrible play, but we were unable of making them pay for it.

Mark Teahen needs to be released. I can't think of one thing he brings to the team.

That bites; I thought we had this one.

We did but Guillen decided to pitch to a guy who has historically beaten his teams with men on base.

They are just some guys on every team that you just can't let beat you and after they got past the Pillsbury Dough Boy, I thought it was a no-brainer, even for Guillen, to walk Martinez.
