Swingandalongonetoleft
QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 02:57 PM) This is why ozzie needs to be s*** canned and I wanna start over Because Humber's shine is fading and he's on pace to throw more innings than ever in the past? Further, I doubt this is an idea that Ozzie pulled out of his asshole after a spirited night of reading Oney's tweets. Don Cooper was more than likely involved because he is, after all, the pitching coach.
southsider2k5
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 25, 2011 -> 08:29 AM) If he works out of the bullpen, he's not "Getting a little extra rest". He is Santiago right now. We all know how much we used him during the three weeks he was on the roster.

Exactly why I don't think he'll ever see any action out of there unless we have a pitcher go down with a bad injury early in the game... So you're telling me throwing 1 inning vs throwing 6 innings doesn't give a guy a little extra rest? It's one f***ing week here, bruh. NorthSideSox72
Seems resonable, but I think long run, we're better off with Peavy in the pen for the remainder of this season.

With what we've seen from Peavy so far...disagree. He needs to be out there pushing innings. It's the only way he's going to build back up the strength in his arm.
