I have a hard time believing Alex would be in the lineup tonight if they had plans of dumping him tomorrow,

Correct. If someone was traded from our big club it's EJax or Thornton, no one that's currently still in the lineup.

I have a hard time believing Alex would be in the lineup tonight if they had plans of dumping him tomorrow, as you figure word would get back to him somehow someway and he'd dog it even more

at least they don't have to worry about him getting hurt. He doesn't play hard enough for that to happen.

I guess we don't know that he'd be going to the bigs for the Sox either.

This rumor is just confusing.

Rios and Quentin both in the line up. Maybe De Aza was traded as part of a deal? Start more rumors

Maybe De Aza is in limbo and a trade is in the process of being completed?

Eh, I doubt it. Probably just another thing to get people excited and it turns out his wife was having a kid or something of the sorts.

If a trade was in progress, the person beig traded wouldn't be on the field tonight.

I was just suggesting that the trade isn't completed yet, as in trade not complete yet, and discussions still going on.

Maybe someone wanted Lilli as a throw in?

I was actually thinking the same thing, aside from the fact that he K's about 30% of the time and probably isn't all that good at baseball Lillibridge is an ideal NL bench player, with all the rumors involving NL clubs it makes sense.
