Harry Chappas
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 26, 2011 -> 10:38 PM) This would be a good move. Frasor will help lessen Crain's load. The bullpen should be nails. I don't know what people reastically think the Sox could get for 2 months of Jackson, and they get rid of Teahen's contract. Beautiful if its true. And who replaces him in the rotation?
iamshack
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 26, 2011 -> 09:38 PM) This would be a good move. Frasor will help lessen Crain's load. The bullpen should be nails. I don't know what people reastically think the Sox could get for 2 months of Jackson, and they get rid of Teahen's contract. Beautiful if its true. I don't believe this trade would be made on Tuesday if that were true. Kenny would hold out til Sunday if he was going to make a move like this. Buehrle>Wood
QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Jul 27, 2011 -> 03:38 AM) That trade is sickeningly bad. For Toronto, yeah. That's the only reason it doesn't make sense.

whitesoxbrian
It better be a great prospect? I can't believe what I'm hearing. Dude, it's 2 months of Edwin Jackson and Mark Teahen. Who cares who the prospect is? Frasor is a damn good relieve

GreenSox
QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 26, 2011 -> 10:34 PM) Nonsense. WTF does TORONTO want with Jackson? WTF do we want with Frasor? My goodness, Jackson (and his draft pick) for an aging middle reliever. The prospect better be elite.
whitesoxbrian
Rumor had it earlier in the day that Toronto is interested in Ubaldo. Does this possibly help them get him?

If it's true, I am ready for this regime to be through. But I'd bet about $5000 it's bs.
Jack Parkman
If this is true, and the prospect is not a good one, KW needs to be fired NOW. This team is going nowhere. Why would you trade starting pitching for relief pitching unless you are getting Drabek back as the prospect. Harry Chappas
Trading a solid starter for a 6th inning reliever when you do not use relievers in the 6th inning is stupid

Paulie4Pres
So they're using one of their better trade chips in order to....dump salary, and really not improve this team at all? Cool. I have to think Jackson has more value going to a contender.... no? This trade is a salary dump, nothing more. If it isn't BS, that is. I await a change in manager and GM so we can stop with short sided trades every f***ing year.
