Depends on if they send a prospect with, and who that prospect is. If it's Lawrie, that's one thing. If it's a similar guy to Cooper, I say we march to Kenny's doorsteps.

Might as well march there either way. If Kenny could draft and develop a legitimate prospect more than very occasionally, deals like the Rasmus one wouldn't be so hard for us.

People are saying that De Aza was called up because this trade is done. If the Sox were going to call up anyone it would be a pen arm for 1 day and then send him down to bring up De Aza.

The Sox arent trading any OF's there is absolutely no need to call up De Aza if its for this deal. It would be an arm that would be most important.

Wow so now everyone is in love with Rasmus? I remember a bunch of people saying his was Rios 2.0. Now were screaming at Kenny because he may not want him?

Hey. I've been consistent in my love and praise of his tool set and future studness.

We most likely didn't have the prospects to deal for with Jackson. I think its probably Toronto who called KW for Jackson just so they can deal him out.

We couldnt get Miguel Cabrera because we didnt have too much in the farm. Now we have a player we might covet but have to watch another team walk away with him because once again our farm is bare. Its about time for the sox to have a self evaluation on our strategy for amateur talent aquisition and proper development. The good to great teams now all spend money on draft picks, the international free agency period and their development. We treat it like its some nuisance. Its not just about developing players for your major league team its about developing players that other teams covet.

We've developed a lot of legit prospects the last 4 years.

We've just traded most ofthem away.

They have him in the lineup today, something HAS to happen by 1.

They are trading Teahen, that is De Aza's roster spot. Teahen played some RF. And there isn't a giant need for a backup 3B when Omar is still on the team and can do it.

There are quite a few contenders in on Frasor, he may not be staying here.

Has there been any talk about this? If so, I wonder who KW might target...or would it be prospects?

If you can trade basically all of your legitimate prospects in a 4 year span, you're not developing many of them unless you're making an insane amount of trade. And we're not.

The White Sox's bullpen has the same number of arms in it post-deal that it had in it pre-deal.

#stlcasrds targeting e-jax (plus others) for rasmus. So they want him. Deal could happen w/i day. Big powwows now. #tradedeadline

Why couldn't we get this done? Instead we choose a 33 year old reliever??

Looks like a 3 team trade, Cards get EJAX, Toronto gets Rasmus, we ger Frasor.

Beatnik tweeting: SOX ARE NOT trading John Danks.

The Sox are idiots if they are not thinking about trading Danks. Blow it all the way up if you must. Time to get some good prospects. Kyle Drabek better be coming through that door with Jason Frasor.
