Wonder who the Twins are benching....??

Kind of weird, unless they know something about Span's health nobody else is privy to, and aren't able to trust Revere for the next 2 months.

They're already full with Cuddyer/Young/Kubel on the corners.

MARQUIS TO DBACKS.

ONE less pitcher for the Tigers.

Aviles has arrived, #3 for Red Sox.

Didn't realize they were trading away Span, haha. Storen will help that bullpen, but if they want back Bernadina too, another player has to be involved.

16 batters for Yankees in one inning. 12-0 Yankees.

Why can't DUNN strike out when we need him to?

UGH!!!

What's the season number now for Dunn against LHP, 2 for 70?

Dunn's 243 OPS against LHP is shrinking even further.

Esteban Beltre or Mike Caruso could walk out to the batter's box tonight and beat that.

Boston definitely will be testing AJ here. Let's not get so carried away with pitchouts/strategizing we put 2 runners on base and give up a crooked number.

We haven't even thrown anyone out with a pitchout, anyway. 0/7 or 0/8 I think.

Doesn't matter.

If a starter can't go 230 innings he should be in the bullpen.

Don't you think this is a little ridiculous? Even Mark Buehrle, a notorious innings eater, hasn't gone 230 innings since 2005. Verlander's only done it once, as well.

200 is a better standard.

Reason #1 we can't really have the best defense in the AL.

Ramirez has to stop that damned ball from getting through to CF. Sometimes you have to wonder what he's thinking....shying away from contact so much.

1-0, Salty. Guess it didn't even matter that CC was on 3rd.
