Teahen Vs. Oney on Twitter

Well supposedly more than a couple of White Sox players are incensed with Oney. One going so far as say he wants to smash his face in, so maybe Teahen didn't start it.

 

I'm not saying Oney isn't a dbag or anything, but what exactly did Teahen have to gain by slamming Oney and then pretending he didn't? Especially when you are talking about someone like this, it is just better to stay out of it, than to poke the idiot.

So you honestly believe that Teahen, out of the blue, decided to blast Oney freaking Guillen? There's more to this that we don't know....either someone passed something along to Mark that Oney said or Teahen's tweet had nothing to do with Oney. I'm of the opinion that the former is more likely when put in an historical context.

The fact that the GM has been throwing Ozzie under the bus for weeks and that Ozzie is not going o be here next year? And the fact that there aren't rumors about Teahen like there were about Jenks?

We've already seen the tweet from Ballantini saying that the players are irate with Oney and that one suggested smashing his face. There's a bit of a difference between shots from Jenks/Cabrera/Frank and those from Teahen, as he's respected around the league as a very good person.

In a masochistic way, this is the most fun thing that's happened with this team in a while. It honestly feels more interesting than the Teahen/Jackson trade.

I agree as well. I also am starting to wonder if the performance of this team has less to do with KW assembling a lemon and a lot more to do with the constant distractions and lack of trust the players have of their manager.

Sometimes it is, but this thread shows how it can be something grossly different- a cyber-place for celebrities and the public to gossip.
