hi8is
Since the last thread regarding Dayan has been buried - I figured it was time to bring some new life to the topic. How is his thumb doing? Looks like he still hasn't been playing. Can't find any other info thou. What's the latest on him? We need his bat.
greg775
If he got brought up, my interest in the team would improve. Amazing we are gonna sit back and get swept by NYY and not bring up some offense and not play DeAza.

caulfield12
Supposedly, Viciedo might finally play today. Yesterday was on off/travel day for the Knights.
ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (TitoMB @ Aug 2, 2011 -> 03:39 AM) He's not coming until September call-ups. I feel it. Should at least get called up on August 31st, in the event we are within 5 games of the division.

Balta1701
QUOTE (Felix @ Aug 2, 2011 -> 09:27 AM) His potential playoff eligibility might. We have the Twins this week after the Yankees. I have a feeling we won't be talking about that much any more.
caulfield12
I just want to hear Rongey spinning any reason to go to a White Sox game for the rest of the season (well, at least until Viciedo comes back up) if we go 1-5 or 2-4 the next six games. elrockinMT
I am going to go out on a limb here and go against popular sentiment. I am looking forward to seeing Viciedo up at some point, but I doubt he is our super hero in waiitng. He may produce and help us win, but I think it's unfair and unrealistic to put the burden of winning it all on this fellow's shoulders. We may be expecting too much and will be greatly disappointed. I think it's a misconception that fans are expecting Viciedo to come up and carry the offense. Rongey is big on this. Who has ever said he would be the difference between winning and losing? In my opinion, fans just want him to come up because he deserves it and there's no way he can be worse than Dunn. If that means more wins, great. If not, it wouldn't happen with Dunn playing every day anyway.

Enjoying watching a baseball game with my son. Teaching him to keep score. My enjoyment of baseball isn't tied to winning. Granted it's more fun if they win that day but that isn't the only reason. A day at the ballpark is better than a day almost anywhere else.
