caulfield12
Well, the Angels/Rays/DBacks would be leading this game 1-0. Baserunning mistakes have also killed us all season long. 0-14 with RISP.
Balta1701
QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Aug 6, 2011 -> 08:15 PM) He didn't even look towards right. The halt was entirely after he'd turned to face 3b, it'd have been very weird for him to get to 2b and then stop without looking at something. Balta1701
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Aug 6, 2011 -> 08:14 PM) I really do not care for Morel. Shouldn't have listened to his coach.

Balta1701
Konerko looks terrible the whole game, the whole at bat, then someoen tells him that there's an RISP and bang.
kapzk
good thing Konerko cashes one in
Dick Allen
Nice job Paulie. Make them pay. I would not pitch to Konerko with Dunn on deck if any base was open, and 2 out Edited August 7, 2011 by Dick Allen
caulfield12
Finally the base hit in a key situation. Of course, it comes from Konerko. Not expecting anything here. Contact of some sort would be nice, however. That's what having some speed and aggressiveness can do for you. Valencia's made a ton of mistakes defensively this season. The White Sox look like the Twins for now. Throwing error charged to Butera. Edited August 7, 2011 by caulfield12

Soxfest
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 6, 2011 -> 07:16 PM) Shouldn't have listened to his coach. caulfield12
How is that a throwing error on Butera? HAT TRICK by Dunn. 142 K's and closing in, slowly but surely, on the mystical 200 mark.

Dick Allen
For a team that is supposed to be so fundamentally sound and is the poster boy for how an organization should be, the Twins have been kicking the ball around a lot so far this series. caulfield12
How did that happen? Delmon was watching it too long? Not hustling? Perfect one-hop throw to Pierre. This, by the way, would be Stewart's first MLB victory if the score holds up.

Dick Allen
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Aug 6, 2011 -> 07:19 PM) A no hit 3b with very limited upside is why.................he has a s***load of braincramps all year long. And he's one of the better prospects the Sox have developed the past 10 years. So if you really want to see the White Sox rebuild and think the offense can't be worse, think 6 or 7 Brent Morels around bad contracts like Dunn and Rios.
