JohnCangelosi
QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Aug 7, 2011 -> 10:30 AM) Beat the Twins, sweep the series and drill Delmon Young! Hey guys, I am missing why we want to drill Delmon again. I VAGUELY recall something (earlier this year?) but someone please refresh my memory. Having a senior moment at age 39 I guess. caulfield12
Well, I'll give him credit for finally taking Dunn out of the line-up. Just removing his "defense" from 1B will save 1-2 runs per game. Brent deserves a start for hitting a homer off Nathan. How many times has that happened in Sox history? Dye? Who else?

We hit back to back homers off him in 2009. Beckham (when he was good) and PK. http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=6430947
elrockinMT
That was a good win yesterday and I watched on WGN. Let's get the sweep today. Hope Peavy can do better tha allow 4 or more runs. He usually does pretty good if he can get out of the first inning without giving up a run or three
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
I brought a Bananarama Greatest Hits CD at a yard sale for .50 . I mention it because track 12 is Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss him Goodbye) which I'm listening to right now .

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Aug 7, 2011 -> 10:33 AM) Wondering why a banner ad for menopause is showing up when I click on the Viciedo thread. Anyway, let's sweep these b****es. That is a curious ad considering this site is probably at least 95% male. And I'll go out on a limb and say membership for menopausal females is maybe 0%. caulfield12
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 7, 2011 -> 11:35 AM) Nathan has given up 7 career HR to the White Sox. Wow...were any those while he was a starter for the Gigantes? Carlos Lee? I just don't remember any save-blowing homers or walkoffs against him. Maybe one of the games in 2010 that he blew against us? I think there might have been one this year already, too. Maybe their first victory against Minnesota this season, can't recall off the top of my head because I was unable to watch that one.

Balta1701
Twins announcers noting that Flowers has 8 at bats since being called up, gives me an urge to track down the thread where someone insisted to me that AJ would get his normal time off with a rookie as his backup.
