flavum
http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...ox&did=milb Teheran was wild. Viciedo walked, but his average is below .300 now. See you in September. Kuhn's got respectable numbers at AAA now.

SoxAce
Damn shame that Johnson and Buckner are the only two guys carrying that Bristol team.
winninguglyin83
Kuhn continues to impress. He's adjusted at AAA after a slow start. He's a left-handed bat. And he can play 2b, SS, 3b or LF. at league minium salary, he can be a valuable piece in 2012 or 2013.
caulfield12
Too bad we can't switch Mitchell's statline with GAC....or change Gac's name and age, lol. Looking at that box score everyday, almost hoping that we can get something out of Silverio. Doubtful. And Saladino's also been sliding backwards a bit average-wise. ChiliIrishHammock24
Snodgress with a nice start. 4 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K
ChiliIrishHammock24
Wilkins went 2/3, BB, HR, 3 RBI Gac went 3/3 with 2 HR. He now has 30 HR and 82 RBI. Wowzers. Too bad he is old for the league. Edited August 8, 2011 by JoeCoolMan24

Yeah with Kuhn and Lillibridge, we have two players who can play every position except catcher (though both are athletic enough to do it in a pinch). That is huge for the team. Bruce_Blixton
QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Aug 7, 2011 -> 06:48 PM) Yeah with Kuhn and Lillibridge, we have two players who can play every position except catcher (though both are athletic enough to do it in a pinch). That is huge for the team. It will be interesting to see what they do with Lillibridge next season if Kuhn has an impressive enough Spring Training to earn a spot on the team as the utility. If that's the case I'd like to see KW try to move Lillibridge for a Thornton/Humber/Floyd type project.
Bruce_Blixton
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Aug 7, 2011 -> 05:50 PM) Damn shame that Johnson and Buckner are the only two guys carrying that Bristol team. To be fair that team has lost a lot of pretty solid players so far this season like Ravelo, Collin Kuhn, Kevan Smith, Carlos Sanchez, etc. On the other hand Great Falls has been mediocre and extremely underwhelming all year. caulfield12
Lillibridge has a lot more speed than Kuhn and can play the outfield as well as every infield position, with the possible exception of 3B. Kuhn would take Vizquel's job. And we might need Lillibridge to platoon with DeAza as well as rest Konerko at 1B. That used to be Teahen's job. Will need to see an incredible AFL season out of Kuhn before I become a believer...the CJ Retherford/Shelby Jr. tag has to be completely dead and buried. No doubt, though it's crazy to see Smith struggling this much which seemed like a seamless "jump" (if you even wanna call it that) to GF from Bristol. Still early for him though. Still early for him though. Good point, I wonder if he was pissed that he was promoted all the way out to Great Falls and not Kanny, he could've just mentally given up on the season out of frustration. There's no way that he's this overmatched by Pioneer League pitching.
