I doubt Thome even wants to go back there.

1.) The constant boos when he's returned

2.) He will want a chance to win a World Series

What would be hilarious is if the Sox claimed him so that Cleveland couldn't. He is only going to cost $600k for the rest of the year.

f*** Cleveland. They don't deserve him back.

How about the White Sox?.....Dunn to DL?

If he's going to be put on waivers....it would tell me that he's probably going to retire after the 2011 season. If so, Cleveland would be his most likely last stop w Philly second.

Twins waive Thome; Sox could have interest

Take this for what it is worth. I would love to see Jimbo back for a few games, but I hope he goes to a team with a legit chance of winning a title.

Someone claimed Wandy Rodriguez... :o

With his contract & the Astros need to save money, I wonder if they would just hand him over for free, Alex Rios style

I saw that and my first thought was please god don't be the white sox.

Source: no momentum right now for a Wandy trade. Houston not especially motivated to move him. Still time, though, for talks...

#rockies made #astros offer for wandy but requested houston pick up some of the $36 mil on w-rod

D backs got Hill and McDonald from Blue Jays

Hill is a good pickup for them.

Edit: NVM, they traded Kelly Johnson to get Hill. That's a downgrade.
