Mark Gonzales

Sox lineup: Pierre lf, De Aza rf, Konerko dh, Dunn 1b, Ramirez ss, Rios cf, Vizquel 3b, Flowers c, Beckham 2b, Humber p

With Masterson's L/R splits, good to see Ozzie throwing every left handed bat in the lineup.

Potency....

Anytime Dunn is batting fourth you can't like our chances, especially at home.

I don't know how anybody could buy season tickets for next year knowing they'd have to watch that guy.

If you are a baseball fan, he could ruin your experience single handedly.

Ugh I just saw Omar is playing.

Sox make it tough to be a fan of this team with this personnel.

I can't wait to see all of you Dunn doubters eat crow next year when he hits 40+ homers. This year is just a fluke.

Anyone else feel like there's no freaking way we're winning tonight?

Under .500, here we come!

1.) I hope you have been spared watching him bat as many times as most of us have this year. He's an automatic out. It's going to suck hearing statements like yours all winter.

Sox have to take that approach to sell tickets.

They'll say it was the appendix and this year will be the return of a good Dunn.

2.) I love what Humber did early. I just think he's gonna get rocked tonight. 9-3 Cleveland.

People aren't worried about next year yet. It's in the next 40 games that people want some results.

Humber's a bad match-up against all of the left handed hitters in the Cleveland offense. Kinda disappointed we didn't shuffle rotation to have him face Texas lineup instead.

Seriously, we're reshuffling the rotation now because of the powerful Cleveland lineup?

You can't "reshuffle" when your extra starter just had to pitch last night.

He had the best at bats on the team last night

I did find it rather amazing how a team can go from 22 hits in 14 innings one night to 4 hits the next especially aganst a fellow with an ERA of almost 6.00. But, that's the the tail of the Sox this year I guess

Dunn goes deep tonight.

De Aza gets two hits.

Rios goes 1-3 with a sac fly

Humber labors but does okay. 6 IP, 7 hits, 3 ER

Sox eek out a win 5-4

I'll be checking in on the game tonight and comparing :gosox1: :)

anybody have an explanation for Ozzie playing Rios in CF and De Aza in RF? De Aza is clearly better than Rios in CF, and Rios is naturally a RF'er....

What are you basing either of those conclusions on?
