fathom
Viciedo's grounder to the pitcher hard hit? Oh, De Aza is a better baseball player than Alex Rios. De Aza does a lot of little things right on the field.
JohnCangelosi
Do you think Morel has ever heard the term "turn and burn"? I'd love for him just one time to do that, his AB's are so defensive it's ridiculous.

I'd love for him just one time to do that, his AB's are so defensive it's ridiculous. Fantastic post. Someone needs to tell him it's ok to strike out as long as he's also dangerous at the plate. fathom
How great was it to hear Hawk and Stoney praising De Aza (while also taking a shot at Rios' jumps on defense). Balta, how many more years do we have De Aza under contract?
JohnCangelosi
Did anyone else catch the dig against Rios there from Hawk about "being in the game" and "bad jumps"? LOL

Balta, how many more years do we have De Aza under contract? De aza shouldn't even have a year of service time yet. Sox should have him through 2015 or 2016

The Ginger Kid
The Angels radio color man (Mota) went off a little bit last week about Beckham and his swing. He says everyone was crowning him when he first came up but some of the Angels coaching staff was startled by how "quick" his swing was. Says he's always been too fast and that along with his hitch is going to prevent him from ever being successful.

fathom
QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Aug 30, 2011 -> 01:50 AM) f***'s wrong with Morel. More errors than walks and homers combined = not good. I really hope he's not in the plans to start next year if we're going with De Aza and Viciedo in the outfield.
