fathom
Perfect example of Morel not attacking a pitch that major league caliber hitters need to crush.
fathom
QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 30, 2011 -> 02:40 AM) Flowers with the double off the wall. AJ is now officially backup. We need Flowers' pop. Greg, come on now
JohnCangelosi
QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 29, 2011 -> 07:40 PM) Flowers with the double off the wall. AJ is now officially backup. We need Flowers' pop. Seems to me that Flowers has shortened his swing a bit since the last time we saw him? An absolutely DISGUSTING AB from Morel there. Pathetic defensive approach yet again. Harry Chappas
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 29, 2011 -> 08:39 PM) It's so much fun watching Viciedo, Flowers and De Aza 3 players not worthy of an ozzie guillen lineup 4-6 2 runs 2 RBI and a walk Rest of the lineup 2-17 Slowey is a minor league pitcher though

Hopefully he gets a chance next year Morel and Rios are god awful pierre havingan awful game as well Kevin Slowey is not a good pitcher

Harry Chappas
Off topic, I met Rick Hahn over he weekend. Very personable down to earth guy. Did not look like what I expected him to. I wished him look on whatever he decides and thanked him all he has done with the Sox. Something about the conversation led me to believe he is not going anywhere. I have nothing to back this up just a feeling I got.

Swingandalongonetoleft
Buehrle is so awesome. Edit: I got that feeling watching the Standing-O as well. I was tossing around the idea of heading out to the park tonight for that reason alone. Edited August 30, 2011 by Swingandalongonetoleft

JohnCangelosi
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 29, 2011 -> 07:47 PM) There's nothing wrong with Pierre having a bad end to the season. I just cannot under any circumstance even with Ozzie at the helm them considering resigning him next year. But then again, this is the same management team that thought Kotsay was a great option because he hit one ball hard off Nathan in the metrodome with the game on the line that was a "hang with em"

I just can't see it happening with the young pitching we have. It would mean that Danks and Floyd gets dealt or Sale stays in the pen with one of those guys gone. I think Sale stays in the pen and replaces Peavy. I think Mark is here for 3 more years on an annual basis.
