ILMOU
QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Sep 1, 2011 -> 03:12 PM) Far be it from me to rain on anyone's parade, but the loss column means less than it normally does because we're playing two doubleheaders in September to "make up" some of those games we haven't played that Detroit has. The double-headers, if we're still in it after this weekend, will definitely be a test, of sorts, for the six-man rotation we've had most of the season. Humber and Stewart are starting Monday, I believe, and while they're not veterans by any means, this isn't their first start, and hopefully both give us a fighting chance. WHITESOXRANDY
In 29 innings this year, Justin Dumbass has allowed 6 homers to the White Sox. That is roughly 33% of his homers in roughly 13.5% of his innings. Danks is money. Even as good as this lineup is against LHP, I do not see either starting pitcher getting a decision. I don't foresee Valverde losing his perfection. Thornton will throw, and that is all I know. ALSO, I KNOW THAT I WILL BE DRUNK TONIGHT, SEPTEMBER THE 1ST. ALSO, I KNOW THAT I WILL AGAIN BE DRUNK SEPTEMBER THE 2ND. ALSO, I KNOW THAT I WILL HOPE THE WHITE SOX WIN AND WILL CARE LESS WHETHER THEY WIN OR LOSE. ALSO, I HOPE THAT I GET LAID. PRAY FOR ME. WHITE BOYS LIKE ME NEED IT. You're in North Dakota. Other than cow tipping all there is to do is get drunk and get laid. Have at it !

BigSqwert
So who will Ozzie bat 4th today? Dunn or Rios? EDIT: And which posters on the site will justify the decision because (1) it won't matter against Verlander, (2) it's the best option he has or (3) he can't just bench these highly paid players? macsandz
I'd bet Ozzie bats Rios and his .566 OPS against Verlander clean up and also plays Dunn tonight. Sorry boys, but this weekend is gonna kill whatever hopes you have left...
Cali
Also, chances Viciedo is benched against a "tough righty" even thought he he BETTER against right hand pitching than lefty's this season in Charlotte (I only put tough righty in quotes as if Ozzie were saying it, not to say that Verlander isn't a good pitcher)
jenksycat
If Rios or Dunn are in the lineup anywhere, Ozzie should be fired before first pitch.
