greg775
Sox team speed reeks always. Wonder if the new regime will get speedier. Wouldn't be so noticeable if we returned to bashing a ton of home runs. Only Lilly and Paulie and CQ have that home run stroke.

fathom
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 5, 2011 -> 07:26 PM) On the first pitch as always. If LaRussa comes to the Sox, we'll see a huge improvement in how our pitchers hold on runners, as well as better strategy with regards to throwing behind runners, etc.
ChiliIrishHammock24
Does Viciedo seriously lead off every single inning? I mean, he he hitting nearly .500, and only has 1 RBI that didn't come on a HR. He always hits leadoff or with no one on base for him. Wish he was batting 4th, or 3rd at this point. MurcieOne
Can we petition the MLB to give some of Rios' money to De Aza. Dude has been playing great since his call-up.

Why would he want the leftover team? Just cause of Jerry, his buddy? How close are Jerry and LaRussa anyway? Isn't Jerry about 80 years old? greg775
How long will Humber go? Will the bullpen implode so we are an even 10 games out entering tonight's game? Hilarious that this team is so far out of first.
