claydude14
QUOTE (JoshPR @ Sep 6, 2011 -> 09:55 PM) Never been to frontier field Great place to catch a ball game, great food too. They were giving away next year's schedule at the game, Charlotte will be in town for 4 games on a weekend in June, you should check it out. Fun to cheer against future Twins when the Knights aren't in town too.
Friend of Nordhagen
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 6, 2011 -> 08:45 PM) Hopefully Morel can end the season with at least 30 RBI's. Wonder if there's ever been a player at that position to play mostly full-time and end up with fewer than 30 in a year? Maybe Chone Figgins, but he was predominantly a leadoff hitter. Here's my all-time favorite -- San Diego SS Enzo Hernandez, in 1971: 549 AB's, 12 RBI! http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/h/hernaen01.shtml
Balta1701
QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 6, 2011 -> 09:56 PM) Tragic Number - 14 So I guess that means Peavy gets two more starts. Ozzie tol the twins announcers peavy might shut down after tonight.
caulfield12
QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ Sep 6, 2011 -> 08:57 PM) Here's my all-time favorite -- San Diego SS Enzo Hernandez, in 1971: 549 AB's, 12 RBI! http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/h/hernaen01.shtml At least he was a SS/middle infielder and not a 3B, though. Wonder if he was a leadoff hitter or #9 guy? I would guess the last hitter in the line-up.

caulfield12
Too bad we won't get to see a couple of Chris Sale 3-4 inning starts. Well, maybe it could happen once they're officially eliminated. Although odds are much more likely for a Santiago/Axelrod nod.

If it were up to me, he wouldn't have started tonight. After tomorrow, you could give Floyd, Buehrle, Humber, Stewart, and Danks 4 starts, and Axelrod the doubleheader game. /fin

greg775
Seems like a long time ago suddenly that we couldn't beat the Twins. Now we're dusting them off every time we play them. Who would have thunk that it doesn't matter a bit. Cause Detroit owns us, now. Weird baseball team, these White Sox. Now that we're two over .500 it's time to lose 4 in a row. Never had a garbage plate Yeah that was the original joint. You really gotta give it a try while you're living there. They used to serve garbage plates at Red Wings games but I can't remember if it was by Nick Tahou's or one of the other 50 garbage plate places that dotted the Rochester landscape.
