Cali
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 16, 2011 -> 06:37 PM) Bob Nightengale says Ozzie's back if he wants to return. PUKE. if thats the truth "I GAWN!"
Milkman delivers
QUOTE (Marty34 @ Sep 16, 2011 -> 01:38 PM) Not that simple. 99% of the fans never wanted to see Lillibridge get another AB after last year. Exactly my point. Don't listen to the fans. Do what's best for the organization, which was to get rid of Ozzie a few years ago.
Milkman delivers
QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 16, 2011 -> 02:31 PM) With the Sox luck, if they trade Mitchell he'll become the next Rock Raines. Looks like the Sox sold their soul to the devil for 05 with the bad luck since then and last 2 horrible seasons. Exactly. How else would we have won a championship with that piece of trash manager, Ozzie Guillen?

Weak.
max power
Honestly if ozzie treats people the way he wants to be treated, at least when it comes to what he says about them, milkman isn't far off.

Lillian
I don't follow the Marlins. Would they have room for Rios? If so, Ozzie and Rios, for nothing in return as long as the Sox don't pick up any salary. I read something about the Marlins being ready to significantly expand the payroll with the new Stadium. Dick Allen
Maybe Ozzie's back if he wants, but he can't have an extension and they are getting rid of Cora, Walker and Cox. So in essence, if he comes back he's a liar. This sets the Sox up for some comp if he wants to go to Miami. If they bring both Ozzie and KW back and make very little change, Cowley will get his irrelevant. greg775
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 17, 2011 -> 02:19 PM) As a manager, he's trash. That piece of trash manager gave you the best moment of your baseball life. A world title. Wanne
Whether people believe Ozzie is trash as a manager or not...the team simply needs some fresh blood instilled into it. Complacency has set in...and that is NOT good. Personally I have more problems with the coaching staff...but Oz has certainly pulled his share of bonehead moves. I wish him well...but it's time to move on and get a new/fresh mindset in this organization. As for Kenny...personally if Ozzie goes...Kenny should go to. He did build this whether with Ozzie's input or not. His moves the past 3 years have been very expensive mistakes which will handcuff this team for a while. I'm just sick of the drama...AND lack of production. Underachieving has epitomized this team the past 3-4 years. Who does that fall on? Either way...time to move on. I love Oz...but ready for a change. Thanks for '05...but see ya.

Bring in a fresh new blood, hopefully one that can produce a draft pick as a starter.

You'd be the greatest boss in the world, make 1 big sale and then do whatever the hell you want. It's quite simple. I don't see how anybody can call him a "piece of trash manager" when he led a CHICAGO team to a WS. When I see outlandish s*** like that, I feel like saying something in support of Oz. You can say he lost the team but he's not a piece of trash manager. I mean he's been in Chicago longer than most managers/coaches stay with their teams. Change is coming but if he was total trash Florida wouldn't be ready to sign him for four years.
