CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 16, 2011 -> 08:25 PM) Missed the final play...could Pierre have caught it? It was a well hit ball Pierre didn't have much time to react but it looked like he froze then had it go over his outstretched glove.

DirtySox
If the Dodgers hold on, the Sox move into the 14th draft slot.

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 16, 2011 -> 08:28 PM) Well, great night all-around. All the young guys look good, and the old guys were bad. He was probably playing more shallow than usual since the winning run was on 2nd base, but really why should he? Even on a single they might test his arm though also could just keep the bases loaded with less than 2 outs.
sunofgold
I think Pierre and Thornton did good. They saved us at least 4 innings. Losing in 9 is better than losing in 13. lol! Oh, well won't lose sleep over this loss. However, it would be nice to beat the Royals. Once in awhile. lol Rowand would have gotten that. lol! greg775
Didn't see the game. I'm assuming Humber sucked? Should there be concern considering how blah a pitcher he was in second half? Nice to see Beckham's line. And you gotta love DeAza.

greg775
QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Sep 17, 2011 -> 05:04 AM) Who isn't there concern about ? True, but if Humber pitched like this first half we'd all really be down on him. I guess he could have a tired arm but this ain't looking good.
