VictoryMC98
Someone had to educate me on the excitement surrounding Davey Martinez? All I know is the players wives need to watch out. He is like a new car, looks great over what you have.. But when you look further, its a car that wasn't ever that good, and the old car is in better shape for what you need. ThunderBolt
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 26, 2011 -> 09:50 PM) Hanley Ramirez has to be excited that he won't get disciplined for his lazy effort at SS. You got to love the prospects of a young team with already clashing personalities being run by a ego-maniacal blowhard who doesn’t believe in accountability. Especially when their superstar is the laziest S.O.B this side of BJ Upton.

kitekrazy
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 26, 2011 -> 07:43 PM) +1 God damn it, seriously I'm more excited now than any point since October of 2005. Don't get too excited. Dunn and Rios remain while Beckham still sucks and pitching remains suspect.

Cali
QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 26, 2011 -> 06:51 PM) Someone had to educate me on the excitement surrounding Davey Martinez? All I know is the players wives need to watch out. He's been mentored by Joe Maddon, arguably the best manager in baseball for the last 3 + years as a bench coach. That's good enough for me. They have to be players who don't need to clear waiver essentially, which is why you know you aren't getting a guy like Logan Morrison. chetkincaid
Man this is bittersweet news. It kinda sucks, but it's best for the team I suppose. I wish Ozzeroo success in Florida. I hate like hell that he could no longer make it work here.
