greg775
QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Sep 27, 2011 -> 05:01 AM) Not at all. I can't stand either one of them. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 27, 2011 -> 05:02 AM) I'll let you know when it happens. I have a serious question, though. When the hell did you learn how to quote people? 1.) I assume you are kidding about Buehrle. What's not to like about him? I never know if anybody is being sarcastic anymore on the board. I love Buehrle. 2.) That's what I thought. I don't understand your second question.

greg775
QUOTE (Reddy @ Sep 27, 2011 -> 05:08 AM) i love this guy. i'ma miss him. Miss him when? Where's he goin? Rebuilding is no fun. Sox need to RELOAD. 90-100 loss seasons will spell disaster for this franchise. Once people get used to losing, 20,000 will be a big crowd except when Yankee and Bosox fans fill the stadium. And of course the 3 games vs. the Flubs.

And big deal. Ozzie Guillen will may them a picture of himself smiling with the WS Trophy. p.s. I'm sure he's sick of their act as well. These well paid players played like bums. No manager in baseball could survive this season - one with Adam Dunn n Rios on the roster. Edited September 27, 2011 by greg775

winninguglyin83
More from Konerko: This situation has run its course. Said he was relleved and he expected Ozzie, Jerry and Kenny were too. Players are human beings. Only so much they can take.

How can you not stand Mark Buehrle? Seriously. Do you realize he is the No. 1 starter in Sox history? Do you not like the Buehrle of the last month? The games he's been hit in? I mean you do realize he's the best starter in (modern) Sox history, don't you???

winninguglyin83
QUOTE (DirtySox @ Sep 27, 2011 -> 04:11 AM) He stated that tonight? Wow. They just showed about 10 minutes of Konerko on Comcast. His basic manage was it was time for a change and that Ozzie is going to be fine. Listening to Konerko, the message was clear that the players had enough of the drama. Can't be surprising.

Carry on greg Yes and if they throw him under the bus like the one person was suggesting he can mail them a picture of him smiling with the WS trophy. Also ... it won't take him long to love his new players in Florida. Ozzie is not being banished to Siberia. He's still a manager. In Florida, a great place to live. I fully expect him to be inducted in the Hall of Fame someday. He's got one title. He prolly only needs one more to assure induction in the Hall. Maybe two more, but he's well on his way at a very young age.

I always thought the players were trying to state they were done with the drama last offseason. Wouldn't shock me if final straw was the Teahen debacle.
