JoshPR
I heard from talking to Jose's cousin that he heard that when Bartolo pitches he gets a new haircut. The guy goes and gets his, and talks to Colon. Colon said that he wants to stay here, he likes it here, it feels like home to him. WOO! Tu Hablas Español? southsider2k5
If he signs with NY good for him. He can go there and face the scrutiny and the boos ( I realize our fans boo, too) and be miserable like Weaver and all those other guys who have choked under the pressure of the Apple. That said, I hope we get to keep him. He's been a good acquisition, unlike Ritchie. New York fans will eat Colon for lunch, much the same way that Colon has eaten so many lunches before... Steff
Bart is as good as gone. Still wearing pinstripes though.
Texsox
what's he gonna say he hates it here? He wouldn't be the first athlete to say that. He probably wouldn't say hate but he could say he is home sick or mention his child hooddream of pitching for whomever . . .
clujer420
Bart is as good as gone. Still wearing pinstripes though. Let's say we make it to the playoffs, beat the Yankees in the 1st round, but lose in the ALCS -- do you still think he's gone?

clujer420
yes most definately.......... Because he's greedy and the Sox "can't afford" a bidding war, or because the Sox won't make a competitive offer?
