Bmr31
This team needs to find some killer instinct. Everytime they move up the standings, BOOM theyre sent back down. The first inning was just pure mental weakness. Its like they dont EXPECT to win..
CubKilla
The first inning was just pure mental weakness. The error by PK on that line shot, the bunt by Guillen, and Carlos Lee doing his lawn ornament impression didn't help either . Like always, we need EL big time AGAIN tomorrow. Got to at least take the series.
CubKilla
I also forgot that JG needs to learn how to pitch around mistakes by his teammates. Errors will happen but JG seems to really get irked when an out becomes a baserunner. All around terrible game tonight.
SnB
I'm just glad I didn't get to see the first 7 innings of this game, sounded kind of ugly. No ESPN for me tonight.
SnB
cubs are already down 4-0 to the 'non existent' offense of the dodgers in the 1st.
Guest wsc425
We will win tomarrow. The Sox shouldn't even sleep tonight and watch film on Rich Harden.
Loaiza21
It's been said before. Harden has faced Kansas City and Detroit (I think). Let's show him a real MLB offense!

If they were they would have run away with the division again. I'll be surprised if they win the division.

danman31
ESPN sucks after Sox losses. Its like getting kicked when youre down... I realized this a while ago. That's why I don't watch when the Sox lose.
SnB
I realized this a while ago. That's why I don't watch when the Sox lose. I've learned that too, when the sox win I'm watching sportscenter and BBTN every hour, when they lose........not one minute of it. Same goes with the bears. Soxplosion
Im like that too. I dont even like to think about baseball when we lose...
danman31
I'll watch BBTN and SC when the Sox lose, but I'll change it when they get to the Sox highlights. I don't take losing that personally. Losing is bound to happen, especially in baseball where you can't be very dominant and in a 162 game schedule. If a team loses 60 games, it's an awesome season. Rowand44
Uh KC has scored more runs than the whitesox. Yeah but this is a way different sox offense then the beginning of the year, right now they are definitely a better offense then KC.
Flash Tizzle
As bad at it sounds, i dont expect a Sox winner tommorw. If you watch the Sox you know how ba we are against pitchers we have never seen before. And Harden is a step above the rest, (to say the least) for rookie pitchers. Lets hope for a Sox win The Sox seem to do whatever we dont expect them to do (do well against pedro, Halladay, and recently Mulder) but when he have high hopes (TB, Detroit series before the break) they choke. I know its common knowledge that we do poorly against pitchers we've never seen, but It will change tomorrow night. Expect a W.

Errors will happen but JG seems to really get irked when an out becomes a baserunner. I thought Garland actually maintained control tonight - as I counetd it, there were 6 outs in the first inning - the 3 usual ones and the error called on PK, the "bunt" hit which easiuly could have been ruled an error, and the I-lost-it-in-the-sun play by CLee which should have been a caught ball - plus the one hit of the inning was as dinky as they come - if that inning is played clean defensively, we are trailing only 3-2 in the later stages of the game and maybe a different outcome since we could play it different - all in all I thought Garland pitched well despite the antics of his team mates what was really lame - and I have always been fond of PK - was at the end of the game when the sox scoreboard tried to tell us the defensive play of the game was the garland to PK play in either the 2nd or the 3rd - after seeing the 1st inning live I wasn't very thrilled with seeing PK in any defensive plays of the game replays Hernandez killed us tonight with 6 rbis - without him playing we win 2-1!!!! Hernandez with the 2 homers and a double, he was the bane of our pitching tonight for damn sure
Flash Tizzle
It seems these last couple series there has always been one person who puts up career numbers in RBI's. Off hand I know Olerud put up a career game in the Seattle Series, and I believe someone for KC did at the Cell when they put up 13 runs.
