kitekrazy
QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 09:21 PM) Linebrink in for the Braves. They're hosed. This will be interesting.
Cali
One of the weakest hits ever might end the Braves season....
Cerbaho-WG
Any White Sox fan worth their salt could have called this. Linebrink is beyond terrible.
caulfield12
Poor Braves' fans, stuck with Scott Linebrink. That was predictable enough. The only thing that wasn't was the fact it wasn't a 3 run homer. Rays fans must have been elated not to see Mariano Rivera out there in the bottom of the 9th. mmmmmbeeer
QUOTE (SnB @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 10:24 PM) Thank you MLB network, thank you so much. This has been such a treat. Outstanding night of baseball. Can't believe the Braves are choking so bad and the Rays came back from a 7-0 deficit. Unreal.
knightni
Sox fans paid for that hit. We're paying part of Linebrink's salary still.

Milkman delivers
f***ing Rays don't even look like they deserve it, even after that comeback. Is their offense really this bad? Every guy going up there is batting as bad as Dunn.

caulfield12
That's 9 NL Central championships in 16 years for the Cardinals. LaRussa definitely won't be leaving now, and Carpenter's also back in the fold, Rasmus was ditched, etc. Right up there with Gardenhire and obviously behind what Bobby Cox accomplished. Linebrink made a good pitch but.............he's Linebrink.
