Milkman delivers
QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Sep 29, 2011 -> 01:45 PM) Son of a b****... you could've atleast used a emoticon so it didn't look like you just b**** slapped me. Jackass. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 29, 2011 -> 01:48 PM) The f***? Is Ozzie going to come kill him or something? Ahahahaha. Also, yeah, Swisher was not acquired as a CF. Opening Day CF was Alexei. I better watch out. I guess it doesn't show us that Ozzie actually lowered KW's winning percentage.

nitetrain8601
QUOTE (Marty34 @ Sep 29, 2011 -> 01:44 PM) Milkman you are making a mistake by using win percentage to defend Williams over Guillen. A very big one. Yes, you're right. When debating, don't let statistics get in the way of the truth, right?

No one expected Quentin to be the monster he was. But that is what slid Swisher to be the center fielder, was that Quentin came out of nowhere. Harry Chappas
Guillen won a title as a 3B coach. Williams did not win any as an asst. GM Guillen made a WS as a player Willaims did not Interesting clip from KW's Wiki page and potential managerial candidate He is best remembered as a player for a bizarre incident during the 1990 season, where a series of wild throwing errors resulted in him (on base as a pinch-runner) rounding third base and mauling over third base coach John McLaren, knocking him out in the process (Williams himself was winded, but eventually ended up scoring the run). NorthSideSox72
Misconceptions? For the love of g*d, how do people still think money wasn't Ozzie's motivation, at least in large part? The SAME guy the defenders are defending for being "too honest", has said IN HIS OWN WORDS in no uncertain terms that it was about money. Seriously, even if you liked Ozzie and think he should stay, how can you not see such a glaringly obvious contradiction? He. Said. It.
