I still can't believe how Kenny has mis-general managed this team. The Marlins get Reyes and Bell, they already have Hanley Ramirez, and they offer a ten yr deal to Pujols --and all of this would bring their payroll up to $100mm. Meanwhile Kenny has assembled a lousy team that had a payroll of $127mm in 2011, with no significant salary relief possible for at least two yrs, and he keeps his job.

Really, the Marlins overspending on those guys has nothing to do with the White Sox. The Marlins are trying to win fans because they have no fanbase due to their lack of commitment to any player that has come up through their system

And for the Marlins to stay competitive with those guys, they eventually will have to pay Stanton and Morrison and everyone else. If its $100 million this year, to keep the same team pretty much intact is going to cost a lot more in 1 and 2 and 3 years.

Sucking for a decade, pocketing all of the revenue sharing money, then getting a new stadium and spending tons of money isn't something the Sox have the opportunity to do.

True, but the Sox are in deep doodoo because of Kenny.

Kenny should have gotten moved to another job and Hahn or somebody else put in charge of this "rebuild."

Sneaky feeling Sox will be a mess by opening day.

A dozen fans on here will go to a ton of games supporting a "rebuild."

Most fans in the city will snooze and The Cell could be a morgue attendance wise this summer n years to come.

Kenny offered that.

Well you didn't support them this year when they were "all in". I guess you owe them one. Will you be wearing a paper bag over your head.

I did it because they refused to get rid of a cancer that was voluntarily throwing games. They've cured themselves of that and are actually trying again (in the long term).

Man you misread a lot of what I write.

I meant the only fans who will attend are those on here who support a rebuild.

The majority of the city will be snoozing and not attending if the Sox suck while playing the DeAza's and Flowers' of the world (and I like DeAza n Flowers no disrespect to them).

You also seem to think I am such a moronic dope ... I never come back and say I told u so, but I will break that rule this time. I said Mark would get four years and I was called a moron.

I don't think I ever said he wouldn't.

I'm much more likely to go to more games this year for that very reason. You and I realized early on that Ozzie was no longer interested in winning.

After the circus of last year, I'm more excited about 2012, especially if KW makes more moves and moves towards rebuilding. It will be nice to see a fresh face in the dugout, experience or not. Anyone will be better off than a guy who didn't care and was thinking only of how to make the GM look bad and how to get to Miami.

This team needs to rebuilt. Rebuilt around guys like Sale, Morel, Reed, Viciedo, and even Beckham is he can get back to respectable numbers.

That is total bulls***.

Maybe he couldn't inspire these zillionaires (like Robin is going to be able to do that, sure) but he wanted to win. The team simply sucked and frankly the players looked like they could not give a s***.

Ozzie didn't want to win? Right.

And Mark wants to play for him. And the Marlins want him. Smart people hired him. But he doesn't want to win. Some statements from the anti-Ozzies amaze me.

Ozzie may have given up on those bums who took the field every day. That may be the one bad thing about having a former player manage. He can tell a team that doesn't care and doesn't have "it." With Robin's personality he will do no better in that regard. It's on the players. THEY SUCKED.

Honestly, Greg, I don't think Ozzie cared about winning towards the end. He gave up on the Sox and then he quit. He may very well go into Miami as a ball of fire and be a good manager for them. But as far as the 2011 Sox go, he didn't care at the end.

So Greg let me get this right. Whenever Joe Cowley praises Ozzie and bashes KW you think he is 100 percent correct. However, when he says that Ozzie might have been making moves to spite KW last year without teams best interest in mind, he is wrong?

Your f***ing god Ozzie Guillen quit on the team. His son started this s***.

Ozzie. f***ing. Guillen. Quit. On. The. White. Sox.

OZZIE. GUILLEN. QUIT.
