2011 NLDS Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Milwaukee Brewers Thread

Aaron Hill's numbers look like they snapped back to normal near-all-star level once he went to Arizona from Torotno.

Wonder what's going on with the hitters/hitting coaches up there in Canada where a guy like Hill struggles there then hits .315 once he leaves.

Not sure if this is sarcasm or not.

If nothing else I was trying to bait you.

Seriously though...Torotno OPS....584. Arizona OPS, .878. That'd be like taking our Adam Dunn, trading him, and having him instantly turn into the old Adam Dunn.

Where the hell did John Axford come from? Nobody knew this dude existed 18 months ago. Again, another reason I refuse to accept Chris Sale settling in as a reliever/closer long-term as anything but failure.

Pitching in the independent leagues, then the Yankees had him and released him.

Hm. Not sure about pitching to Prince in that situation.

At least with Ian Kennedy still in and Fielder with a .200 point higher OPS against righties.

It was a stupid, stupid move. Supposedly Kennedy has too much pride to intentionally walk anyone but that's about as obvious of an ibb situation as you'll ever see.

Kelly Johnson had a similar turnaround, but for the other team. Sample size.
