Milkman delivers
I'm sure that Crawford will come back to normal, at least closer to his norm. It might not be in Boston, though.

southsider2k5
QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Sep 29, 2011 -> 04:09 PM) Yeah, but Rios is a lazy POS who doesn't throw his bat enough for my liking. Plus he's an awful interview. You know who was a great interview... Ozzie Guillen.

I could get in front of the camera and spew broken english, make fun of gays, encourage school shooters to simply kill themselves, call the fans idiots, etc. Ozzie is a f***ing moron and he'll simply fade into the abyss now that he doesn't have the stage that the Chicago media provided for him. BS. Put Ozzie on Comedy Central, it would get raves.
Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 29, 2011 -> 09:11 PM) BS. Put Ozzie on Comedy Central, it would get raves. And I could color my hair, wear makeup, get a billion tattoos, and put on a dress and I'd be Dennis Rodman. But see, I can't play basketball like Dennis Rodman. Ozzie's act suffices when he's winning. Which he hasn't done for 6 years now. Nobody gives a s*** about his act otherwise.
Quin
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 29, 2011 -> 07:56 PM) No one is taking that money on. Not for Rios + Dunn. Oh god, I wouldn't do that. Crawford might bounce back, but his contract will be bad if not worse at its end.

Now that is funny. Maybe we can gets some winning with class lessons from the Cubs next?
bighurt574
Might as well include Werth in this discussion too. Dunn had an awful, awful season, but if you had your choice today of Dunn's, Crawford's, or Werth's contract going forward, who would you take? Dunn's is probably the best of the bunch, at least it's shorter.
jenksycat
I'd be more worried about CC honestly. -Massive contract -Can't use the "He's never seen these pitchers before" excuse -He's not a 300 pounder So really the only thing you can call it is he can't handle the pressure. At lease with Dunn we have the hope that all he needs is a boot-camp like off season to get in shape, and learn all the AL pitchers....and we don't owe him a quarter billion. EvilJester99
I would say Dunn due to the fact he plays for this team...
bighurt4life
Dunn was awful but going forward I'll take him over Crawford for a couple reasons. 1. New league, new pitchers etc... 2. His deal is shorter for less money 3. Crawford's game is mostly based around his athleticism and he is getting older. There is a better chance that his game continues its decline while Dunn could very possibly have a bounce back season. I'll at least say that it's more likely Dunn will bounce back next year. At least we know that he couldn't be any worse. Just for this season Dunn was obviously the worst, but I'll still take him over Crawford or Werth for that matter going forward.
