Steve9347
Guys, I want to get the wife a forerunner, as she's obsessed with working out. Any recommendation on models? There's a bunch, and it's hard to tell which are worth it. I'm happy to spend up to $300.

Suunto makes some products for that as well that are quite good, but also pricey. Might want to check those out too.
Steve9347
I really wish my wife had gone with the Android like I told her to vs a Blackberry. I downloaded an app for my Evo called iMapMyRun, which does everything a Forerunner can do (save heart rate). It's nice to go out on a run and know exactly how far you are going. http://www.mapmyrun.com/imapmy/android/

This will be perfect and much more suitable for her workout schedule (gym rat every morning, runs on weekends).

I'm gizzing over this, but at $349 its really pricey: http://www.prweb.com/releases/Garmin-forer...rweb8303923.htm
RockRaines
I use the Nike fit chip. My sister uses a GPS watch and loves it. I know Motorola just came out with an android one today.
