Quin
Reed and Thompson need to be higher up. Marinez and Martinez will be on there.

Marty34
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 3, 2011 -> 12:19 PM) Trying to turn him into trade-fodder? More likely trying to pave the way for a Ramirez trade.
Balta1701
QUOTE (Marty34 @ Oct 3, 2011 -> 01:24 PM) More likely trying to pave the way for a Ramirez trade. Because listing him highly devalues Alexei since it convinces everyone that the Sox must move Alexei to bring in their hot young prospect. Ergo, the Sox are trying to destroy Alexei's trade value, to make sure that they get a bad deal for him. KW is on the Ozzie Guillen path of wanting to be fired, and he's going to make that happen. Easier to explain trade to fans. I don't think that's the case as Mayo doesn't work for the Sox, but it would make a lot more sense than trying to build Escobar's trade value. The Sox aren't in "trade prospect" mode.

Marty34
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 3, 2011 -> 12:41 PM) WTF? They can say they could deal Ramirez because their #1 prospect is Escobar.

Vance Law
QUOTE (oldsox @ Oct 3, 2011 -> 11:27 AM) Just noticed that the Sox revised the Top Ten Prospect List. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/mlb/prospects/watch/y2011/ You are suggesting that the White Sox rank their own prospects and then publish that list on the mlb site? This list must be created by someone else. Correct me if I'm wrong, someone who actually knows the answer.

RockRaines
Literally the only person who thinks trading Alexei is a good idea is Marty, there is no chance the Sox trade a very good cheap SS right now, zero chance.
