greg775
I haven't studied this at all, but I wonder how other division championship teams in baseball are faring against their divisional rivals the past 2 years or so. I would think you play a team that many times over the past many years that it gets tougher and tougher to have an amazing record against a divisional rival. For instance, can you see any scenario in the future in which we ever truly dominate our division record wise? I'd think in the Sox case, a .500 record against divisional foes overall is about the best we can hope for. Because of familiarity.

kitekrazy
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 27, 2012 -> 08:43 AM) Jon Morosi @jonmorosi Both #Tigers and #WhiteSox have sore-armed pitching staffs. Jim Leyland’s experience needs to be difference-maker if Detroit is to win. Their starting depth is better. It's their pen that is becoming more shaky. Even after Fister's performace, the pen gave up all of the runs. Good for them the Royals decided to do a Tiger's defense impersonation.
