Strasburg has been a lot of hype and potential, but dang would like to see him shut down the Cubs today. And Buehrle against the Reds. Santana returning for the Mets. Marmol ripped to shreds and Cubs blow second heart-breaking game in a row. 4-2 lead at the start of the inning now 4-7 against them, Wood, Marmol and now Shawn Camp. Jennings for a full year and a healthy Longoria makes their offense a lot better than last year. They've got some cheap pop, something they lacked in '11, in Pena and Scott. Not a perfect offense by any means. But more than adequate with their speed, defense and elite starting pitching (Matt Moore is their 4th starter!). What an amazing organization from top to bottom. Balta1701 Posted April 10, 2012 Share Posted April 10, 2012 Darvish looking very much like a rookie pitcher in his first inning. 3 walks, Mariners bat around, given up 4 so far, only 1 out, 40 pitches so far. He's got a solid fastball and a good running fastball but he doesn't seem like he knows how to attack these hitters just yet.
