The Beast Posted October 13, 2011 Share Posted October 13, 2011 I got called into this season ticketholder conference call even though I am not a season ticketholder. It must mean that they are having problems selling tickets - big surprise. Anyway, I listened in and there wasn't anything that we didn't know or the least bit interesting. Basically he was a cheerleader for re-signing Buehrle and says he wants Dunn to relax this off-season. A ton of fans were real conservative on the call and didn't ask about Dunn or Rios. I'm sure the play 3rd is a typo, and normally I would agree about playing the field considering how he used to oppose being the DH, but Dunn only hit .115 while playing the field this season with 2 homers, his only extra base hits in 122 AB. Its really stunning how bad he was. I think he will improve next year, but still be garbage. Hit around .200 with 20 homers if he plays the same amount.
