SOXOBAMA
According to several sources... I wonder why no team has interview Davey Martinez. Also, great to see that McEwing will be staying with the Sox.. Edited November 13, 2011 by SOXOBAMA

Milkman delivers
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Nov 13, 2011 -> 06:18 PM) "Matheny, 41, doesn't have managerial experience but is no stranger to the game." White Sox are terribly run. I wonder if he'll have an experienced bench coach, at least. bjm676
I've read writers that praise the hire. Same ones who didn't like the Ventura hiring. Same managing "experience." Don't get it.

Milkman delivers
Plus, he's a former catcher. I obviously know that that doesn't automatically make someone a good manager, but national writers don't always seem like the smartest guys. Balta1701
QUOTE (Tex @ Nov 14, 2011 -> 12:21 PM) This is a clear sign they are in rebuilding mode after the best player in baseball left as a free agent . . . more plausible? southsider2k5
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 14, 2011 -> 12:46 PM) more plausible? I dunno. In all seriousness, I would be really curious to see if they ran this by Poo-Holes people to see what he thought.
