Quin
QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Feb 3, 2012 -> 03:54 PM) The thing against that is we have played more games than most teams while dealing with injuries and I think played the most road games in the league or close to it. And us winning the games weakens Strength of schedule.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 3, 2012 -> 03:55 PM) And us winning the games weakens Strength of schedule. All valid points, but I've said this before and I'll say it again, I'd rather play 25 games against the Bobcats, Wizards, Pistons or Raptors than play 19 games against good competition. Over the same number of days though, there's something to be said for the 19.

Would you rather play those games without your best player for about five games, and two starters for most of the season?
Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 3, 2012 -> 05:07 PM) Would you rather play those games without your best player for about five games, and two starters for most of the season? Other than the Grizzlies game, have they missed Rose even a little in the games he's missed. The East is really, really, really bad after the top 5 teams. Kyyle23
Glen Davis suspended for two games by Orlando for conduct detrimental to the team. Apparently him and SVG got into a pretty heated shouting match at practice today. Orlando is in a death spiral.

So the worst-case scenario for Martin is that he joins the Clippers later this month? Still a good pick-up for them. They've got nothing big-man wise after Griffin and Jordan. Soxbadger
Id say its unclear. If he is still under contract technically the one with the Clippers may not be enforceable. That being said it may be a mere formality and he may sign with the Clippers. Just unclear at the moment.

fathom
BTW, always fun to remember that a team with Thad Young, Javaris Crittenton and Anthony Morrow (along with two other players who made the NBA in Alade Aminu and Mario West) couldn't win a postseason game in college. I hate you Paul Hewitt!
