Allen is the best of all time. But Morrow is an absolute sniper.

That he is. But give it some time before you start talking about the greatest shooters ever. I'm not about to put Kevin Durant in the greatest scorers company with MJ. And I totally forgot that Morrow is a GT alum. So that obviously explains his comment. lol. Still love ya, fathom

Allen is a much better scorer, but in terms of simply shooting the ball, Morrow is just about the best ever

(obviously a lot of big men will be up there, but take note of the Reggie Miller's of the world)

That's irrelevant. TS% takes account of FTA vs FGA too. Not just the mades. And you have no idea whether the players takes a lot of shots at the rim or take long jump shots.

Never heard of this stat, to be honest

Reggie Miller wasn't exactly MJ in terms of takin' fools off the dribble for dunks and layups. Neither are guys like Nash and Allen. And shame on me for forgetting about Chris Mullin. That boy could shoot.

Would you prefer I use eFG%? Either way, there isn't a doubt that Morrow is a very good shooter, but to say he's one of the best of all time is a ridiculous hyperbole.

shame on all of you for not including Dickey Simkins as the greatest NBA player ever. I hereby suspend and ban the past two pages of posters for forgetfulness and excessive hyperbole, including Soxfan1. Enjoy your time off.

Any stat that says Deron Williams is a better shooter than Anthony Morrow seems flawed to me.

Morrow is a career 45% three point shooter, 89% free throw shooter, and also a career 45% shooter from long 2s. Though he's played four season, so the correct statement is he's on track to be one of the best shooters of all time.

QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 3, 2012 -> 04:39 PM)
Definitely. Certainly doesn't hurt that they've faced the 11th easiest schedule in the Eastern Conference this season (26th easiest overall), but they've done a good job handling injuries. If their schedule was a bit harder, it's pretty obvious they wouldn't be 19-6 right now, however.

When your team is winning, injuries or not, there's no reason for any player to ever speak poorly of a coach. That was my main point.

QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Feb 3, 2012 -> 04:54 PM)
The thing against that is we have played more games than most teams while dealing with injuries and I think played the most road games in the league or close to it.

QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 3, 2012 -> 05:52 PM)
All valid points, but I've said this before and I'll say it again, I'd rather play 25 games against the Bobcats, Wizards, Pistons or Raptors than play 19 games against good competition.

I didn't realize how lopsided the home/road stat was until KC wrote this:

When the trip concludes Feb. 12 in Boston, the Bulls will have played a league-high 20 road games to just 10 at the United Center. Thursday's victory over the Knicks concluded their 10th of 17 back-to-back sets, and they already navigated their lone back-to-back-to-back test in early January.

Even though the Bulls will be playing some tougher teams more, including the Heat, after next week they'll have a 2 to 1 home to road ratio left

Did you also suspend yourself for spelling his name wrong?

Deng might still have surgery.

I'd kill for Wilson Chandler or JR Smith if he does.

Smith should be a free agent; but, Paxson has experience with his childishness before. Remember, he waived him right after a trade.

He traded him for Howard Eisley. I'm still fuming over that. Although from what I remember it was Skiles who didn't want J.R.
