Balta1701
QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Mar 29, 2012 -> 02:20 AM) Right, which was one of the reasons I feel like they could be the 2nd seed even without Rose... maybe if not 2nd in the top 4. But cmon we have no chance vs the Heat in a series no Rose. Actually they do have a chance. If Lebron and Rose are both out.
Balta1701
Hamilton should actually be ready to return Friday, and hey, it's the Piston's! Good for him. MVP did some "shooting" of some sort before the game last night.

Balta1701
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 29, 2012 -> 09:35 AM) Why am I not surprised? I expect him to play 10 minutes and get injured again. It's make or break this time. He gets hurt again and that's it for any chance of him being a valuable playoff contributor. He might give you 10 minutes as a backup if he is somehow healthy for a few of those games, but he won't have been a part of the team or offense at all if he goes down again. He better not get injured for the rest of his damn contract. This season has been ridiculous from him. Especially coming from somebody everyone claims prides himself in his conditioning. This season has been ridiculous from him. Especially coming from somebody everyone claims prides himself in his conditioning. BULL-SH** The only thing I'm going to complain about was him coming back for the Pistons game when he shouldn't have. That was bull. Otherwise...he's an older player on the downslope of his career. Even if he was in excellent condition, that's the chance you take with that kind of signing.

Balta1701
An enjoyable look at the importance of the corner-3 ball to offenses. The reason I probably wound up liking this so much, of course, is that it winds up concluding "Tom Thibodeau is scary."

southsider2k5
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 30, 2012 -> 10:26 AM) Good debate last night: Better draft pick: Noah Gibson I'd say Taj because of his draft position. It is much harder to find a guy in that spot. If it wasn't for Noah or Boozer, he'd be a starter and probably would be 15/9 kind of guy. For the hype of Jo when he came out of college, he never really has taken any step forward offensively to separate himself from the pack.
Balta1701
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 30, 2012 -> 11:32 AM) I'd day Taj because of his draft position. It is much harder to find a guy in that spot. For the hype of Jo when he came out of college, he never really has taken any step forward offensively to separate himself from the pack. You know what? My answer is going to be "depends on what Noah shows up in the playoffs". If we get the Healthy Noah who can win a game or so in a big series on his own just by pulling down 18 boards or so, I'll take that pick...but the injuries have really hurt here. The guy who showed up in November of 2010...stellar, but he's been gradually trying to get back to that level for a while now. If he's just rounding into condition this year and struggling with the lack of a preseason and the compressed schedule I can believe that, but then he has to kick high gear on the playoffs. The November 2010 Noah was a dominant center, then he had that injury. If we still had the pre-injury Noah this wouldn't be a tough question. I'm not expecting tonight, but OKC on Sunday and Houston on Monday is a tough B2B without him. Just off of the feed Teddy Greenstein @TeddyGreenstein #Bulls' D-Rose would love to play Sun at OKC but that sounds unlikely. Rose: "It would hurt me not to play that game." MexSoxFan#1
I would rather Rose comes back 100% healthy, the Bulls know how to play with him or without him, Rip needs to come back slowly and get a groove with his team mates. You guys might think I'm nuts but I think the Bulls can play with OKC sans Rose.
