Soxbadger
Well Thibs waits for the Bulls to be down 10 points before he puts in Taj. I have to wonder why Im watching because it doesnt seem that the Bulls coach even cares.
Soxbadger
Are you going to sit there Thibs or are you going to get a t and protect your players? How long will it take for him to understand that refs wont give you calls unless you freak out, its so annoying.
Soxbadger
So CJ Watson hasnt made a shot in 2 games I think, yet Thibs refuses to switch it up. At some point you just have to try anything when you are so undermanned, just give James a shot, it doesnt really matter at this point it cant be any worse. fathom
For all the trashing of JL3 on here, he gives the Bulls a better chance of winning than Watson now.
Soxbadger
I think Jimmy Butler gives the Bulls a better chance right now, Watson doesnt seem healthy.

Some of the worse point guard play I've ever seen in the playoffs. Watson has been absolutely brutal. Hamilton has been raped on a few plays with no call. This is brutal. Soxbadger
Dont worry, Thibs is just going to sit with his hands in his pockets, like he does every game. Its a crime how Thibs wont stand up for his players and get a T. Its also a crime that he didnt start Taj this game.
Chisoxfn
That is the 3rd consecutive position in which Hamilton was hacked with no call (this time away from the ball). After watching the garbage officiating in the 4th quarter and now this, what the hell.

Soxbadger
Against a 76ers team that only wants to drive, Brewer is a good defensive option. Im just more mad that Thibs didnt start Taj who has been good and let the Bulls get into a hole.

Im just more mad that Thibs didnt start Taj who has been good and let the Bulls get into a hole. I like Taj. Whether he started or not though, whatever, he's going to get a lot of minutes today. I do think he should have been in the game when the Bulls couldn't score. Gibson can score. I want Butler out there and Watson should be permanently benched. Chisoxfn
QUOTE (fathom @ May 6, 2012 -> 10:36 AM) Neither is the rim Its why I didn't want the Bluls to sign him. They needed a guy who can stretch the court, not a poor mans Deng. Good god, the Sixers have hit some ridiculous shots tonight. If Bulls can just stay with them, they'll be alright. Thank goodness for Taj!!!
Soxbadger
Gibson has scored the last 10.

Soxbadger
Thibs just isnt seeing that with Asik on the floor the 76ers are able to double hard constantly, as soon as you have Taj/Boozer they have to play much more straight up giving everyone a chance. If they spread the defense out they may just have a chance.
Chisoxfn
This is weak sauce. That is not a foul.
Soxbadger
And thats 3 fouls on Taj. Will Thibs go insane and get a T as the refs just took out the Bulls best option? Or will he sit there and let the refs decimate the team?
Chisoxfn
On the DVR, it looks like Brand is the last one to touch that ball (knocks it out of Korver's hand).
Chisoxfn
The problem with Asik out there is that he's more a low post guy and its hard for him to be out on Hawes. Hawes is on fire though (and that 3 wasn't on Asik).
Soxbadger
I dont even care if the bulls are getting the foul calls, sometimes as a coach you need to get riled up and go after the refs. You need to show your team that you will get thrown out if necessary to protect them.
Soxbadger
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 6, 2012 -> 01:08 PM) The problem with Asik out there is that he's more a low post guy and its hard for him to be out on Hawes. Hawes is on fire though (and that 3 wasn't on Asik). Its why I thought Taj/Boozer would start. 76ers arent a big team with a lot of post guys who can beat you. You might as well put the most athletic team out there and see what happens. Asik is just not a great fit for this series.
