2nd_city_saint787
good first half defensively, keep riding that the rest of the series! Edited May 9, 2012 by 2nd_city_saint787
Soxbadger
Collins may have made a slight mistake with that foul, gave the Bulls a free chance to sub some offense.
Jake
This thread died. Well, we're looking okay. Taj giving it his all. Boozer and Deng showed up today. Only thing killing us right now is Ronnie Brewer
Soxbadger
Brewer is no good on offense, but he has been good on defense. At least some of these guys have energy
Jake
We're getting it done for now, but why no Hamilton? Props to Taj for toughing it out.
Soxbadger
Rip isnt athletic enough to play defense against Philly and was part of the reason the Bulls were getting beat inside. It seems this game Thibs is just saying screw offense and putting out their best defense.
Soxbadger
Huge steal by Brewer.
Soxbadger
Such a terrible mental mistake by Taj there, you cant foul 3 point shooters, its just horrific.
soxsoxsoxsox
QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ May 8, 2012 -> 09:16 PM) So is Stacey sick or just depressed or somethin? I was wondering the same thing. It sounds like he took a bunch of downers.
Jake
This team needs Rip playing in the final minutes. He needs to be willing to defend, I'm not buying that he isn't athletic enough. He's still very fast so I have to believe there is some lateral movement remaining as well. I'll take what I can get as far as these wins go, though. Soxbadger
Rip wants to defend, he just cant anymore. He isnt even really that quick, there is a reason why hes not getting free off of these staggered screens and only part of it is 76ers overplaying him. Brewer has ridiculously long arms that give bigger guards/small forwards problems.

Soxbadger
DID THEY SAY IT WAS OVER WHEN THE GERMANS BOMBED PEARL HARBOR?!?!?! And the Bulls have an okay chance, they are the 1 seed so if they can just blitz the 76ers on Thursday and just win that game, anything can happen in a home elimination game 7. Soxbadger
If Taj plays the Bulls can win. If Taj is out, Noah is out, it just would be a huge challenge.
danman31
I guess what's the bigger embarrassment: losing in the first round as a 1 seed or being swept in the 2nd round? That's what's going to happen at this point.
