2011-2012 NBA Season Thread

All in all, when you consider our best man defender and 2nd best player was out along with our back up PG, and the Bulls were a pair of fts from winning on the road, you gotta be optimistic going foward.

Rose needs to stop choking on late game fts

If the TWolves talk bothers people...then conveniently, we have an option, an entirely vacant Chicago Bulls related message board, which would LOVE to have someone, anyone, posting there!

If we could link SoxTalk, TalkBulls, and TalkBears, I'd be there more often. Let's just spam it on here from now on.

Meh. Again, I get the whole moral victory spin. The Bulls hung tough against a great team on the road without two key players. Then again, they still manged to lose this game with Wade, outside of a couple of fastbreak dunks, looking as bad as any player of his stature can possibly look (and it wasn't just Hamilton). It goes both ways.

Those are two completely different things though. I'm certainly not convinced that we can beat Miami in a 7 game series but I definitely think we have a better shot this year than we did last year.

Then again, Wade has struggled against the Bulls D going back to last year, he hasn't gone off against Bogans, Brewer, Hamilton on him today.

Nothing wrong with anything you said here. I'm just saying hanging tough today shorthanded doesn't really prove anything in the long run. I get the feeling some are using today's game as a precursor to something bigger down the road. If you thought the Bulls could beat the Heat, you thought that way before today's game.

This is not an excuse. If/when Luol suits up this season he'll be a f***ing completely worthless shadow of himself because he has a terrible, horrific, painful injury that has ruined him for this season.

Well, forget all this "Wade played like s*** business"... that's the whole point of this Heat team. One guy can blow, but they still have another superstar ready to hit ridiculous shots. Seriously, I just relived last year's ECF. It is what it is... the Bulls can't hang with the Heat.

This I agree with. This game meant absolutely nothing in the long run for either team.

And the Heat have still won the last 5 games. Now how often do you think Wade, a former finals MVP and one of the best players of this era, is going to continue to perform at a level wayyyyy below his norm? This isn't like Bosh kicking Boozer's ass. Boozer has a decorated history of bending over against the longer/athletic forwards in the league.

And this is where I'll disagree. If Rose plays like he did today, they can beat the Heat, or atleast come close. They have nobody, not even LeBron, that can check him. He got anything he wanted and got to the line 14 times. That's no fluke. He can do that. And that's why I hate that he shoots so many 3's/long J's.

Wow at whats going on in this thread right now.

Some got their panties in a bunch that the (Bulls lost) Heat won, some have a stick up their ass from Felix posting, my boy J4L sucking on LeBron's tit for the MVP... pretty much the usual stuff here.

LBJ makes or breaks the Heat, in the end, it falls on him, he creates a match up nightmare because of his size and quickness, if LBJ is off, Bosh nor Wade aren't leading the Heat to a title.

We saw what happened when LBJ went missing in the 4th qrtrs of the Finals. We need to figure out a way to get inside LBJ's head, a James Rules perhaps? :lolhitting

Yup. And they lost. And Wade sucked. They can't hang.

Suicide watch, jeez...I'm not saying based off what happened today that we'll beat Miami in the playoffs but considering how all these games have been close, we are right there with them and you gotta be really pessimistic to believe we have zero shot against them.Me, I'm not throwing up the white flag, f*** Miami.
