have you looked at Dwights rebounding numbers? Ever? Noah and Dengs rebounds are pretty much mitigated

Dwight isn't pulling down more than 15 rebounds. Throw in the fact that he's never had rebounders like Boozer and Taj with him, they'll take a hit.

Noah, now that he seems to be back to high-energy Noah, can pull down 12. Deng can pull down 8, more likely 6. At best it would be a lateral move in rebounds.

Deng spaces the floor like Brewer can't and Noah can hit FTs. Dwight isn't improving our offense with highlight dunks if we lose Deng (obviously if it's just Noah, he does).

So if we include Deng/Noah then at best our defense goes from damn good to slightly more damn good and our offense is about the same or worse since Boozer isn't a stretch four like Dwight is used to playing with.

Then we mortgage the future by throwing out Mirotic and the Bobcats pick?

Then let's consider the Magic's best leverage is MarShon Brooks and Brook Lopez. I'm sorry, but Noah alone > those two.

But again, I just wanna point out there is no reason for to bid against ourselves when the Magic have no leverage.

The Knicks did that and are now terrible. I guarantee someone would have said "Melo, Amare, and Chandler is a fifty win team." And no, that's not a shot at J4L, but the general masses who though that.

Its not about values its going to be matching contracts. So you may have to trade Deng just to make it work, obviously you hope they take Boooooooozer but youd have to hope the Magic GM had a mild stroke to accept that.

Noah + Kover get's it done after March 1st.

Does Noah's salary count completely under the new CBA or is it still 1/2 of his total salary like it was under the last CBA? The Wikipedia entry was unclear.

Howard and Rose are under 26 and top 3 at their position.

Its a little different than Melo, Amare and Chandler.

Fine then.

Stockton/Malone.

Top 3 at their positions all time, Jordan or not they only made 2 Finals.

Remember, All-Star game this year is in Orlando on February 26th. I can't imagine the Magic trade Howard before then, and have him play the All-Star game in Orlando with a different team.

Thus, it's more likely than not that he will not be traded before March 1st.

PF: Carlton Banks

SF: Paul Pfeiffer

C: Dwight Howard

SG: Kimmy Gibler

PG: Derrick Rose

Bench: the cast from the Breakfast Club.

That's still a 50-win team. Depth my ass. Worry about that later.

Great, the Bulls were a 60 win team last year.

Losing Deng would really hurt against Miami, especially without Noah.

Well, Boozer is a little better than Carlton Banks.

Well the problem is if Howard doesn't get traded, the Bulls have no shot at him.

As far as I know after he signed it it was a Poison Pill Contract, so not worth it's value. Now, I'm not sure.

But fine then, $6M from Noah, $5M from Korver, $3M from Brewer. That's within 150% of Dwight's $18M.

Also, Dwight rags on his team and goofs around. He could actually be a clubhouse cancer. LeBron and Melo never did that s***.

Basically, I'm saying I want to get the talent, but I'm not going to bid against myself considering all things.

Howard would change the entire complexion of the Heat match up. The Heat have no one who can match Howard. Lebron couldnt guard Rose because theyd need Lebron helping on Howard in the paint.

Malone/Stockton is slightly different, Malone was a beast, but he wasnt Howard. Its more like if you had Shaq/Kobe, Shaq/Wade, you know dominant Center and dominant Guard combos.

In no world is Howard > Malone.

Karl Malone is not only a world better offensively, he was still very good on D and could rebound.

And the centers Malone had to go up against are worlds better than Dwight.
