What exactly is that?

I'm on call right now for my team (in IT), and our website was down so they called a code red. My team has nothing to do with that issue but we still have to be on the call until we've been cleared.

I've been watching the entirety of Scrubs again.

Season 9 had a lot of potential, but just too many character roles went unfilled or were unproperly filled.

I refuse to acknowledge the existence of Season 9.

Stress on "potential"

Having Carla as the tutor instead of Denise would have been better, having a Dean of the university to fill the Kelso season 1-6 role, Janitor needed to stick around, Ted as a lawyer for Med Students would have been hilarious. Cole needed to not have a large role, or at least not in that "core" group which should have been Lucy (who needed the crazy toned down), Drew, and a third person to act as Lucy's best friend. Elliot and JD needed to be together in more episodes, not 6 of JD and 4 of Elliot.

Such wasted potential.

I wasn't even crazy about Season 8, but the final episode (or final two if you want to break them apart) was/were fantastic.

"Season 9" was Season 1 of a completely different show that flopped terribly.

I actually thought Season 8 was one of the best seasons.

Is Scrubs even in syndication anymore? It used to be everywhere now I never see it. I took a few years off from watching it because I saw every episode like 100 times but lately I've definitely been wanting to watch it again.

The irony of this post is great.

I've been thinking about going with some friends to Vegas for New Years 2013/4 (as in, night of December 31, 2013), but I've never been there before and have no clue how to even research it really. Where to stay? What to do? TELL ME EVERYTHING.

Never been to Vegas for New Year's but I hear that it's incredibly expensive then, as in like the low-end strip hotels charge over $200/night.

I went 2-3 years ago for New years in Vegas. It was alright. Packed and pretty expensive. I decided to go January 2-6 this year, which I got a 5 star hotel (Aria) for $73 a night.

Don't get me wrong, it's one heckuva time, but you gotta throw some money around to get into the clubs that night with all the celebs out and about. You see tons of familiar faces.

Hmm. Perhaps it would be better to go right after. It's more that I want to go Vegas since I've never been at all, so I figured might as well go all out and do New Year's-- but it's probably not worth a s*** ton of extra money to me, which is what it would likely be.

Oh, if you're just wanting to go to Vegas and not dead set on it being New Year's, then definitely go some other time. It will cost half as much and maybe less.

Also, depending on where you live and how much time you spend in casinos that are local to you, you can accumulate time on a players card that get you even better deals on rooms.

If you're anywhere near Hammond or Joliet, those are Ceasar's properties and if you play enough there, you can get rooms free or dirt cheap at their Vegas properties, which include Ceasar's, Rio, Bally's, Paris, Planet Hollywood, and Harrah's.

Definitely. That was my first time there and it was still awesome. This coming January will be my 2nd and I'll probably hit up a few more shows and whatnot. There's just so, so much to see out there. I honestly felt like I was in a different country. You can definitely get a fantastic deal by using hotwire or naming your own price on priceline (thats what I did) and got a fantastic hotel. The hotels are super nice in Vegas. I stayed at the Trump on new years, but they didn't have a casino. I've heard the Aria is gigantic and everything in your room is so technologically advanced that it's all voice command.

I checked hotwire for 2-6 and you can get a 4 star for $40-$50 a night on the strip.
