Nice episode but the storylines are getting tough to follow without a scorecard.

Indeed. It's hard to remember who knows what about who and who is on which side. Its interesting to see how the show has gone from SAMCRO vs. some outside force in the first few seasons to the internal struggles of the MC itself.

Watched Wedding Band last night. It was exactly what I expected: one hour of mindless entertainment that was pretty funny. Brian Austin Green is actually a pretty decent singer (if it's really his voice) -- not Grammy worthy by any means, but exactly what it's supposed to be, a wedding singer with a bunch of different styles.

The best comparison would probably be Franklin & Bash, right down to the 90s TV star(s).

Watched the men who built America or something like that on history last night. Gotta tell ya it was good and I am now looking to see all 6 or whatever episodes.

It was a great series. I know they are running a marathon of all of them sometime soon. I enjoyed teh series, and now have Mankind, the history of all of us, cued to record.

Caught up on Homeland last night. The Brody/Carrie stuff makes zero sense to me, from either sides perspective. I mean, they're both broken people so they gravitate towards each other, I get that. But 1. he's a terrorist, Carrie fights terrorists, and 2. Carrie's crazy, and Brody knows this. The whole make-out scene at the retreat (nice house, btw) was so...misplaced?

Also, the Sal stuff with that prisoner was great. That whole side plot was A+ material, especially how it ended.

To the Walking Dead comic book readers, I assume that the experiments that the Governors scientist is conducting are of the "cure my daughter" variety?

Also, in the comic did the Governor lose his eye, or came in with the eye patch?

Last Resort axed. Good pilot but steep fast decline.

Hello...MC Mahon

i hate to see it go. It was my favorite new show. I know the ratings were never great but not sure i saw a decline in the quality of the show.

Oh man, all 3 of Dexter, Homeland, and Boardwalk had some pretty crazy endings.

Since they are so fresh, I proceed w/ spoiler tags.....

Dexter:

Deb is a disgusting animal. Man that scene was sick to watch get rehashed. Good call for those who called Issac as being a love of Viktor. I had thought maybe he was his kid or something (didn't recall Viktor's age, assumed he was early 20's). I was guessing that Dexter would use Hannah to help kill Issac (w/ poison), but the scenes for next week make it less likely considering he knows who she is now. LaGaurta....ahhh.

Homeland:

Good stuff. The show just took a big turn. The Carrie/Brody lovefest is still annoying, and Saul's unrelenting leash he gives Carrie, but s***, those last 5 minutes or so were intense. Question though, why wouldn't they bug the SUV they have been driving around? I mean, they get audio for every location except that one?

Boardwalk:

Was bored through about 45 minutes of it, until that gruesome scene with Gip, and then that big reveal of Mr. Slater being dead. f***. I was honestly shocked by that. In retrospect, I guess the whole scene about them running off together and everything seeming so perfect could have been a tipoff that one of them would die, but I definitely didn't pick up on it. s***. Much like the Jimmy death, it really disappoints me. I liked his character a lot, it was someone that seemed as good of a guy as a gangster could be.

Oh and Margaret being preggars. Geeeeez. I wonder if she will keep it, as they have discussed abortion in previous episodes.

Yeah, LaGuerta is all over Dexter now. And now she is bringing her old boss into it.....

I think we are going to lose Hanna and Isaak at the same time and Deb and Dexter are essentially going to get 2 birds with one stone. Quinn is f***ed, way in over his head.

After Luciano and Lansky told Masseria about Nucky's intentions to kill him, it was pretty damn obvious that Owen was done. And I think they may have shown their hand about how Gyp will die. It seems pretty easy to say that his right-hand man will now give him up somehow. It can happen in any number of ways, but I'm fairly certain that guy will either actively or passively play a role in Gyp's demise.

What scene are you speaking of with Deb in Dexter?

Im guessing where she admits to Dexter that she is in love with him. it doesnt bother me as much as it bothers others, there are some documented cases of kids that arent blood related raised as siblings that fall in love with each other. its weird but it isnt incestuous.

I used the same logic to a guy at work. Seems Dex isn't even interested like that, or in shock.

For those who use spoiler tags, can you put the name of the show in non spoiler black so I knw which ones to look at?

Homeland was uncomfortable when everyone was listening in. Looks like a strong finish to the season.

Are you talking about the guy who's cousin's head was bashed in? I wasn't sure if that guy was another lackey or important to Rosetti. I don't see Gyp lasting into next season, but he's been so great, who knows. Plus, I'm always surprised at their character decisions...like killed Slater. That sucks. I liked him.

Yes, that guy. And he's important to him. It's his lieutenant.

SOA is on the DVR from last night but Boardwalk and SOA are killing cast members off at a pretty regular clip and I am not sure what I think about it. It really is getting tough to follow SOA while Boardwalk seems to just create new folks.

I don't watch Walking Dead anymore but seems some shows are only being talked about when characters are being killed off. That isn't a good formula IMO.

well, thats what Walking Dead is about, lol. Its a pretty important part of the narrative, people surviving and also dealing with loved ones being killed and turning. But, they are now adding some pretty big characters. There is a pretty big one coming in the fall finale in 2 weeks.

That was hilarious.

Claire Danes' husband can't watch the show because he hates seeing his wife act-cry. I wonder how he feels about her getting ravaged??
