ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 04:38 PM) My theory: Rosie's father is actually the councilman. Stan is the killer. Hmm.... I like that about Darren being her father, that's actually quite good. As for the killer, I don't think it is Stan. He has been way too sad and pissed off about the whole thing to be the killer. For some reason, I am suspecting that her mom killer her. She could have ran away from home from the guilt. However. I noticed on AMC's suspect tracker on the website, Rosie's mom is not listed as one of the 30+ choices listed to choose from. So either there is 0% chance it is her, it's a clue that it IS her, or on the show they have just yet to have anyone suspect her. http://suspecttracker.amctv.com/breakdown.php Edited April 27, 2012 by JoeCoolMan24

Good that it has been renewed, but bad that it'll be over. I thoroughly enjoy the show, and I wonder if Fox had put it in a more friendly time slot it would have made a difference. He acts sad a lot and also seems to "defend" her ("she was a good kid! rabble rabble rabbly!) He could have done it in a fit of rage or something and regretted it. He could have loved her like his own daughter, only to find out it she wasn't really his and that's what sets him off. That also sorta explains why the mom took off - both parents had a big fit about it and Stan went crazy. She might only suspect it was Stan, but doesn't know for certain, but either way she can't be around him. BTW that's my biggest complaint of the show this season, ignoring all of the other major issues with the show being bad: they haven't explained whats up with the mom and why she's acting the way she's acting. I'm also thinking it's going to end up being someone we don't even know yet. That seems like the MO of this show - string along, string along, random action! All I know is, it better end within the next 2-3 episodes. I am getting bored w/ this story. At some point, you have to reward the audience for putting things together and figuring it out, but then they throw a curveball that changes everything. The writer of the show said this Larson case DOES get resolved in S2 and a new case begins, so I am hoping it's pretty soon.

I'm going to enjoy the lynch mob when they reveal the killer, it's someone now one knows about, and then the next season (or two) is the case about trying to track that person down and charge him

juddling
Fringe is winding down another excellent season. So glad to hear the announcement that they will get one more year to wrap things up. Unlike that other Abrams series...the writers on Fringe seem to have a clear end goal and aren't making things up on the fly......

Steve9347
Mad Men has really, really hit it's groove. Poor Sally grew up really quick. Last night might have been the tipping point for me with "The Killing". It's apparent they are just planning on introducing more and more bs and more and more characters that have had zero weight on the show thus far, while also pointing to different characters as the killer and building up huge evidence as to why it was said character before squashing it again. I think it's pretty clear the killer is going to come out of nowhere, and I feel like everything I've watched leading up to each moment is of zero consequence, because they seem to just be throwing darts at the mystery dartboard. Agreed on Mad Men. Another good episode. I really love that Roger is becoming more and more involved in the show. Getting a BJ at that awards dinner was pretty impressive. As far as The Killing, I was sort of half watching, half playing on my phone, but it looked to me like they were circling back to characters that were introduced in the beginning of season 1 - the indian chief that runs the casino, the Twilight-looking ex-boyfriend, etc. And who didn't see Mitch getting robbed coming from a mile away? Dumb. Her whole storyline this season makes zero sense. Did anyone catch the name of the father? Is that someone already in the show?

I way behind on it (I think I have about 6 on my DVR), but I've enjoyed every episode. The reformed Big Bad Wolf that helps out is great. Always good comic relief.
