SnB
we have outplayed the angels for the entire game, but we couldn't come up with the clutch hits. The score should be more around 5-2 or 6-2 right now.

brijames
BC does not have his best stuff tonight. The halo's are right on him. It will take at least 5 runs to win this thing.

Capn12
This looks alot like the 2001 and 2002 Sox teams on the West Coast, and thats definately not a good thing.

winninguglyin83
this pattern of scoring a run, giving a run away ain't good
Soxplosion
Ya know what really bites? Jose struck out in his first AB when we needed a flyball, then in his second he flied out when we needed a basehit. Also, in AB #1, Jose had an 0-2 count and that swing was pitiful. He needed to be defensive, but instead he swung for the fences, head out and one handed. Anyhow, Jose and PK are killing us today. For such a miserable, unfundamental performance, they should both be benched for one game in favor of Tony Graffanino and Brian Daubach... dasox24
The game is tied because of this: The Angels are playing small ball, while we're not. They get sac bunt and sac fly's when they need to while we can't. This game's stressing me out!

Soxplosion
Exactly. Lee, Thomas, Everett (taking one for the team! ) and Ordonez are doing well but Konerko and Jose just cant get it done...

dasox24
Bottom of 5th: Kennedy- single to RF Kennedy advances to 2B on error on pickoff attempt Eckstein- sac bunt Kennedy advances to 3B, Eckstein out at 1B Figgins- sac fly Kennedy scores Anderson- Strikeout(swinging) 3-3 going into top of 6th
Soxplosion
Thats another thing. If Konerko and Valentin did anything, this could be a 6-3 game or more. But those two have killed us. Konerko kinda (only kinda) made up for it with that DP, but Jose hasnt done a thing...
Capn12
Well, the organization will have their chance to upgrade the SS position after this season...we'll see what they want to do.

Soxplosion
Look at Jose .avg.........228!!! Do you have to show me that? It hurts! And in his first AB, I didnt even want a hit. Everett was on third with one out, all I wanted was a sac fly. But he had the perfect sac fly on his next AB, when no one was on first base. With two strikes on him you should just be trying to make contact too. Instead, he pulled his head out and swung for the fences. Way to be a team player Jose. Lead by example. This guy calls himself a leader but he just cant help the team...

Soxplosion
Angels' bullpen is one of the best in the league...bad news. I was thinking that earlier. I was really kinda pissed we knocked the mediocre Sele outta the game early. Usually Id be happy but I knew this pen was good so I actually was kinda pissed...
