I really don't think that Samuel & Rodgers-Cromartie are that good. Samuel is a pretty good ball hawk, but he takes alot of chances.

Put the film on from Rodgers-Cromartie last year and you won't see a pro bowler.

DRC is one hell of a nickel back though.

Yeah, but he's their third CB now. How many teams have a nickel back as good as him?

I think Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has some potential, but if he plays this year like he did in 2010. Than alot of teams have a nickel back that good.

In week 17 last year he got burned for three passes over 20 yards and got flagged three times. Against the 49ers.

Wouldnt Gohlston be better served trying to be our strong side linebacker? He has the speed and strength, he obviously wasnt the "hybrid" the Jets were looking for but the risk/reward is there depending on how they use him.

I really don't think so. He was out of his element in the Jets' 3-4 system as an LB and is much better suited to be a 4-3 DE with his hand on the ground. I have high hopes for him as a pass rushing specialist who could grow into a bigger role.

These are NFL teams we're talking about and most 3-4 teams run 4-3 subpackages to change things up. I can assure you that Gholston has played multiple downs with his hand on the ground. If it were that simple I'm sure Rex Ryan would have utilized his talent. He has 0 sacks in his career. 0. The fact is he isn't very good at football.

I hope I'm wrong. I really do. I hope Marinelli can work some magic on him and make him productive, but to excuse his lack of production based on the system he played in is naive.

Alright f*** playing the optimist how the f*** have we yet to address the OL this is getting ridiculous

Bears NEVER do anymore. Not since Tait. Angelo likes to sign band aids. Hope Williams improves and Carimi is effective.

And they still have yet to sign Kreutz. Old as he may be, he is still the anchor of a line after a lockout.

Contrary to popular belief the offseason is not over. Actually, free agents haven't even been able to sign contracts yet.

Exactly. There are plenty of OL left- Max Starks, Sean Locklear, Jamaal Brown, Ryan Harris, Matt Light, Nick Kaczur, Brian Waters, Justin Blalock, Jacob Bell, Kyle DeVan, Derrick Dockery, etc.
