No that wasn't a comment on this specific game but on the only thing Bears fans can hope for for basically my entire life. Strong running game, good blocking, decent receivers... no quarterback (the usual). Good quarterback, ok receivers, good running back... no blocking. Well that's exactly my point, you never, ever have hope of the Bears offense actually winning a game. Ugly game but I expected to be 0-3 at this point. The run simply wasn't there. They were getting stuffed. The pass was there. Cutler made some mistakes, the O-Line made some pass blocking mistakes and the WR's made mistakes. Fact of the matter is, this is a game that falls on Jerry Angelo. You didn't address the OL, CB position or WR position when you had the money to. In fact, you lied to Bears fans and said the dumbest thing I've ever heard a GM say with that much money under the cap and with as big and glaring holes as the Bears, "Who else is out there that's better?" Hell, I'm better. Anyone you would've picked up is better. By simply picking up Carimi and calling it a day on the O-Line, by simply picking up Roy and calling it a day for the WR and not even bothering to improve the CB position just baffles me. JUSTgottaBELIEVE Posted September 26, 2011 Share Posted September 26, 2011 Glad to see the Pack still got Cutler's number...he's now 1-5 vs. GB while starting for the Bears and 1-6 lifetime. It's hard to believe that the Bears were 7-3 vs. GB in the 5 years before Cutler arrived while starting guys like Rex Grossman, Brian Griese, and Kyle Orton.
