I'm so glad the 49ers ended the f***ery that is the hype around the Lions. They can't run the ball, their offensive line is not good, and when they aren't throwing lob passes to Calvin Johnson when a team foolishly has him single-covered, they aren't a very good team. Their front four on defense is good, sure, but they still can't stop the run and Ndamakong Suh is incredibly overrated. I look forward to playing them at Soldier Field later this year.

Hopefully the Bears can build on this game (especially the oline) and take it to London next week and give it to the Bucs.

Let me say what I've been telling a lot of people. Matthew Stafford, while strong armed, is not that good (yet). Could he be, absoltuely, but he's still very inexperienced and isn't exactly dynomite. Calvin Johnson is and there defense is solid.

I don't get the impression that the Bears worry a whole lot about the off of the field stuff.

But they do care about having guys who are good "Company men" and keep stuff in house. They hate it when people try to negotiate or pressure them for things in public or complain about PT in public.

Yeah, but Harris hasnt done any of this. Reporters asked him about the benching and he said he was a professional and he would handle it like a professional. The only thing I have really seen him say that could be considered somewhat out of line is that he would like everyone to be accountable for their performance. Not really a TO moment

And until this week, Harris never has.

Stafford makes a lot of bad throws, he's not that good yet, I completely agree. Calvin and Suh on the other hand are as good as advertised and in todays nfl you really don't need the best of running games to be a factor. The Lions aren't going anywhere, they're a playoff team and besides GB and NO, they might be the best team in the NFC.

Yesterday showed that as long as Cutler gets time the WR's are fine.

Do you really respect Minnesota's secondary and their coverage skills? Getting open against the Packers is a different story I'd bet.

mmmmm no. Think about how many times the bears settled for a field goal after getting to the red zone

To me it means the O-line still is by far the most important thing to fix.

The bears recievers get no seperation, have shaky hands at best, and there is still not a WR in that bunch that can go up and get it over a CB. You can point to yesterdays game and say "see?" but at the end of the day, the Vikings are 1-5 for good reason. The offensive line had a good game yesterday against a really good D line, and the Bears recievers still had trouble off the jam and providing targets for Cutler. Johnny Knox almost tipped a ball into an interception in the end zone, Devin dropped an easy pass in the flat, Sanzenbacher dropped a possible td/definite 1st down. There is still many WR issues on this team

I'm not saying they are great. They are passable if Cutler has time. Offensive line has to come first.

It is past time to accept "passable" for this franchise. We all agree that Angelo has done absolutely nothing for Cutler in the WR and OL department. meanwhile, 4 hours north, both of those positions get better every year
