fathom
Who was the former Bears player to announce the pick? On ESPN's coverage, I believe Bears first pick was the only player who wasn't shown in the green room or via satellite, and then we didn't see the 2nd pick announced. farmteam
I'll fully admit my Hoosier bias on this one, but I'd love to see the Bears draft Tandon Doss. I think he projected in the 4th-5th, so if they can grab him in the 5th that'd be awesome. Very fast, great hands, very good lateral movement. Basically a not-quite-as-good DeSean Jackson. lostfan
QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 08:13 PM) They'll probably take away the 2012 4th rounder instead. They better not take away s***.
knightni
Hankerson would be good pick if he fell to the 3rd round for the Bears.
Palehosefan
Shouldn't be any question left as to who is the best talent evaluator in college football. Butch Davis has an unbelievable eye for talent. Too bad he doesn't really know what he's doing on gameday.

Palehosefan
QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 08:01 PM) 'Boys grab a RB. Murray has a chance to be a star at the next level. He has very good size and speed, if he can just stay healthy he will be a pro-bowl back.
knightni
Barber and Jones can't stay healthy. Maybe Murray can get into the mix. In fact, Barber may be done in Dallas.

knightni
QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 09:15 PM) Pretty disgusting how well the Pats draft every year. Mallett's a raw talent, but why draft him? They don't need a QB.
danman31
QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 08:19 PM) Mallett's a raw talent, but why draft him? They don't need a QB. Because that's how they want to develop QBs. Think Aaron Rodgers, or before him, Tom Brady. It's a great pick because he has Pro Bowl talent at the most important position and they got him in the 3rd round.
knightni
Pettis and Hankerson now both gone. No WR with size and talent left. Might as well draft a safety or another lineman.
